Young Stribling was born on Dec. 26, 1904 in Bainbridge, Georgia. During his career he fought Mike McTigue, Tommy Loughran, Battling Levinsky, Maxie Rosenbloom, Jack Sharkey, Primo Carnera and Max Schmeling during his career. Presented here is an antique wirephoto of Young Stribling from 1924.
