Sonny Liston won the Heavyweight Title in 1962 defeating Floyd Patterson by 1 round K.O. He knocked Patterson out again in one round the following year. Lost the title in 1964 to Cassius Clay. Always a person surrounded by controversy he died a mysterious death in 1970. Presented here is a stubless ticket to the Chicago national Golden Gloves finals where Liston Competed.
This is an official stubless ticket to the Golden Gloves final in 1953.The ticket measures 2 1/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches.there is a rough edge wear the stub was removed.The corners are soft.The printing is bold.The back has a partial word stamped on it.Seat numbers are present.
