SALICA, LOU-GEORGIE PACE FULL TICKET (1940)

On September 24, 1940 at the Polo Grounds in New York bantamweights Lou Salica and Georgie Pace battled for the NBA version of the world bantamweight championship. The fight was originally scheduled for August 22nd, but was postponed. Salica prevailed winning a 15 round decision over Pace. Offered here is an original full ticket for this fight.
This is an original full ticket which names the fighters. Bold color and print. Clean front and back. Two small hole punches at either end. Stub firmly attached. Not creased or torn. Minor edge and corner wear. 2 3/4" x 7 1/4."
