Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney fought each other twice during their careers with Tunney winning both fights. Their first fight in 1926 ended with Tunney winning the world heavyweight title. The 2nd fight, best remembered as the 'long count," ended in controversy with Tunney defending his heavyweight title. Presented here an original, large format, first generation photograph of Gene Tunney posing in the ring with Jack Dempsey at one of Dempsey's training sessions.
