HISTORY: Larry Holmes fought Tim Witherspoon on May 20, 1983 in Las Vegas. Holmes won by decision in the 12th round to successfully defend his World Heavyweight Title. Michael Dokes fought Mike Weaver also on this card. The fight ended in a majority decision draw.
