Teddy Yarosz (24 June 1910 – 29 March 1974) was an American athlete in boxing. He held the world middleweight boxing championship during 1934–1935. Yarosz was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Lived in Monaca, Pennsylvania. His brother Tommy Yarosz also became a boxer. Yarosz became a professional boxer in 1929, trained by Ray Arcel. He won the NYSAC World Middleweight Title and National Boxing Association World Middleweight Title with a win over Vince Dundee on 11 September 1934 in his native Pittsburgh. He lost the belt to Babe Risko in 1935. Yarosz was featured on the cover of the January 1934 issue of The Ring magazine. Yarosz was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in the Class of 2006. Offered here is an original promotional photograph of Teddy Yarosz which he has signed.
