On March 8, 1971 Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier fought for the first time at Madison Square Garden in New York to determine who was the undisputed Heavyweight Champion Of The World. Frazier in what was likely his finest performance as a professional fighter won a 15 round decision and knocked Ali down in the 15th round to seal it. Presented here is a souvenir program from the event.
This souvenir program entitled "Fight Of The Champions" is a vintage 1971 publication. Both fighters are pictured on the cover in a Victorian frame. 48 pages in fine condition. Unscored. No creases, rips or tears. No writing. Good clear images and color. A beauty! 8 1/2" x 11".
