HISTORY: On April 1, 1972 at Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan former world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali fought tough Mac Foster in the main event. Ali predicted a 5th round knockout, but Foster forced the fight to a decision, easily won by Ali in 15 rounds. This was the first fight ever held in Asia between two top-ten ranked heavyweights. Ali was ranked #1 and Foster was ranked #9. The fight drew a crowd of 15,000. Ali predicted he would knock out Foster in five rounds and entered the ring holding the ring card for round five. There were no knockdowns in the fight.Offered here is a rare, high grade, full, unused ticket for this event.
