HISTORY: On May 16, 1960 at St. Nicholas Arena in New York welterweights Ronnie Cohen and Jimmy Archer (brother of Joey) headlined the boxing show. Cohen prevailed stopping Archer in the 7th round. Archer's chief second Dennis Brady asked the referee to stop the bout after the 7th round. Archer was knocked down in the 1st.
