HISTORY: On June 15, 1944 at Madison Square Garden in New York former world champion Henry Armstrong matched against Al "Bummy" Davis in the main event. Armstrong dominated and stopped Davis in the 2nd round of the scheduled ten rounder. Davis was down twice in the 1st and twice in the 2nd.
