On January 17, 1941 at Madison Square Garden in New York welterweight champion Fritzie Zivic defended his title against the man he won it from months earlier, Henry Armstrong. The hard punching Zivic stopped Armstrong in the 12th round in defense of his title when referee Arthur Donovan waved off the action. Offered here is an original wire photo depicting the two fighters shaking hands at the contract signing.
