On August 29, 1935 (rescheduled from August 22nd) at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweights Buddy Baer and Jack Doyle met in the main event. Baer knocked Doyle out in the 1st round. This bout was scheduled for six rounds, as the NYSAC prohibited boxers under the age of twenty one to participate in contests of longer duration. Baer is twenty years old at this time. Doyle was down three times before Referee Kavanaugh waved it off and led him to his corner. Offered here is an original full ticket for this event.
