Smeeton [...] and sold by Sherwood, Neely and Jones, Paternoster Row, and all other booksellers, 1812–1824, Volumes I to V, size Large 8°, Volume I comprising 484 pp., Volume II 574 pp., Volume III 640 pp., Volume IV 672 pp. and Volume V 732 pp., each with a frontispiece, an engraved title page and the covers of the original paperback bound in, in later matching red half-leather bindings with gold embossing and gilt head edges, bookplate by Ronald Lambert Tree;. The interior is occasionally foxed in places; the uncut page edges are a bit frayed; otherwise in good condition with normal signs of age and wear. Tight bindings. Each volume is bound to 6" x 9."
