HISTORY: On April 18, 1961 at Earls Court in London world lightweight champion Joe Brown defended his title against local favorite Dave Charnley for the second time. Brown won a hard fought 15 round decision. The bout was named Fight Of The Year for 1961 by Ring Magazine.
