HISTORY: Kid Chocolate was born on January 6, 1910 in Cuba. Kid Chocolate defeated Benny Bass by TKO in the 7th round on July 15, 1931 to win the World Junior Lightweight Title. He later fought Tony Canzoneri for the World Lightweight Title but was unsuccessful.
Presented here is an original Kid Chocolate and letterhead used to write a letter to him in 1931.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is original Kid Chocolate letterhead and envelope used to write a letter to him in 1931. Letterhead has original folds. Letter written in pencil in Spanish. Letterhead has two small holes and mild soiling. 8 1/2" x 13." The letterhead and envelope both picture Kid Chocolate. The envelope has soiling and surface wear. Edge and corner wear. Three Cuban ten cent stamps. Addressed to Kid Chocolate (Eligio Sardinas). 4" x 9 1/2."
