Cassius Clay fought Sonny Liston on February 26, 1964 in Miami Beach. Clay won by TKO in the 7th round to win the World Championship. Presented here is an original, first generation, antique photo from this bout.
This first generation, antique photo from Clay-Liston I is 7 1/2" x 9 1/2." There are small creases in the corners and along the edges. There are longer creases in the center of the photo. Both fighters names had been written in pencil but were erased. Otherwise clean with no rips or tears.
