On February 25, 1964, Cassius Clay fought Sonny Liston for the World Heavyweight Title with Liston retiring in the 7th round due to an injured shoulder. After this fight, Clay changed his name to Muhammad X and then Muhammad Ali. It was the Ring Magazine 1964 "Fight of the Year." Offered here is a wire photo of Cassius Caly walking in Harlem on March 2, 1964 shortly after his winning the world heavyweight title.
