Billy Conn was born on October 8, 1917 in East Liberty, Pennsylvania. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title in a bout with Melio Bettina on July 13, 1939. He fought Joe Louis twice for the World Heavyweight Title but was not victorious. He retired after fight Joe Louis in an exhibition match on December 10, 1948 with a final record of 63-12-1 with 14 KO's. Presented here is a vintage signed photo.

There are several creases along the bottom half of the photo and in the lower left corner. There are 2 pieces of tape along the left and right edges of the photo. There are 2 small clips in the upper right corner and in the lower left corner.
