On September 14, 1954 at Harringay Arena in London heavyweight Henry Cooper made his professional debut. Cooper fought Harry Painter in an undercard bout and knocked him out in the very first round. Offered here is a very scarce original, official program for this event. This is an original, official program consisting of 24 pages complete with full bout listing including Cooper. Also includes a one page bout sheet which notes the winners. The program itself is not scored. Includes a brief biography of the fighters including Cooper. Mild center crease.
