HISTORY: On July 29, 1994 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Oscar De La Hoya and Jorge Paez fought for the vacant WBO lightweight title. De La Hoya knocked out Paez in the 2nd round to win the title. Also on the show world super middleweight champion James Toney defended his title against Prince Charles Williams. Toney knocked Williams out in the 12th round.
