HISTORY: This is an original, type 1 photograph of Jack Dempsey and Jerry "The Greek" Luvadis shown boarding a train in Chicago en route to Miami to visit Tex Rickard who was in a hospital after suffering from appendicitis. The photo is date stamped January 5, 1929. Tex Rickard died from complications the following day.
