HISTORY: Roberto Duran was born on June 16, 1951 in Guarare, Panama. He won the World Lightweight Title on June 26, 1972 from Ken Buchanan. He won the World Welterweight Title on June 20, 1980 from Ray Leonard. On June 16, 1983 he won the WBA Junior Middleweight Title from Davey Moore.
Offered here is an original type 1 photograph depicting Roberto Duran in a training session as his trainers Freddie Brown and Ray Arcel look on. Arcel often gets most of the credit for handling Duran, but it really was Freddie Brown who trained Duran.
