George Foreman was born on January 22, 1948 in Marshall, Texas. He has held the World Heavyweight Title at several points during his career and has fought Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and Michael Moorer in the process. Through 1997 his record was 76-5 with 68 KO's. Offered here is an original George Foreman Team Sweater from the collection of trainer Charles "Doc" Broadus. Charles "Doc" Broadus is commonly credited and known for discovering George Foreman and guiding him to the Olympics. He also helped trained Sugar Ray Leonard, Leon Spinks, and Michael Spinks.
This is an original George Foreman Team Sweater from the early 1970's. This sweater is navy blue with red and white trim. Long sleeves. On the back in white script are the words, "George Foreman." Manufacturer's label for Pony in collar with Large size tag. PONY is stitched on the left arm. Has some soiling. Perfectly intact. Bold color. Equipment of George Foreman is extremely rare.
