HISTORY: On January 14, 1974 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia future world light heavyweight champion Matthew Saad Muhammad (then Matthew Franklin) made his pro debut against Billy Early. Muhammad stopped Early in the 2nd round. Also on the show middleweight Stanley "Kitten" Hayward stopped Perry Abney in the 4th round.
