HISTORY: Joe Louis defended his heavyweight title for the second time against tough Arturo Godoy on June 20, 1940 at Yankee Stadium in New York. In their first meeting Louis prevailed by 15 round decision. In this fight Louis eliminated all doubters stopping Godoy in round 8.
