On November 23, 1951 at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweights Baker Clarence Henry and Bob Baker met in a featured bout. Henry knocked out Baker in the 8th round. Baker was well ahead at the end of seven rounds. "Midway through the eighth, Baker and Henry tangled in another savage exchange.
