HISTORY: On November 10, 1978 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas world heavyweight champion Larry Holmes defended his title against Alfredo Evangelista. In a dominant performance Holmes outclassed Evangelista and knocked him out in the 7th round. On the undercard junior lightweight champion Alexis Arguello defended his title winning a unanimous 15 round decision over Arturo Leon and heavyweight challenger ken Norton knocked out Randy Stephens in the 3rd round.
