HISTORY: On June 9, 1899 World Heavyweight Champion Robert Fitzsimmons defended his title against undefeated Jim Jeffries at the Coney Island Athletic Club in Brooklyn, New York. Jeffries, the younger and bigger man, proved too much for Ruby Robert stopping him in the 11th round to win the heavyweight title.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a rare, original, on site, full ticket which names the fighters, date and venue. Bold color and print. Two stubs are firmly attached. Not creased or torn. Corner wear. Some paper residue on back and some paper loss on back. 2 1/2" x 6 1/2." Exceptionally rare, the only example we have seen.
