James J. Jeffries was at the turn of the twentieth century the best fighter in the heavyweight division. He became World Heavyweight Champion defeating Robert Fitzsimmons and posted career victories over Jame J. Corbett, Tom Sharkey and Peter Jackson. Came out of retirement in 1910 and was stopped by then champion Jack Johnson in one of the most celebrated fights of the century. Presented here is a very scarce souvenir pin of James J. Jeffries. This souvenir pin from the early 1900's is blue and has the name, "JEFFRIES" across it in bold white lettering. In nice condition. Pin firmly attached. Clean. Only very minor foxing. 7/8" in diameter. Very seldom seen.
