On December 26, 1908 in Sydney, Australia Jack Johnson shocked the world when he stopped World Heavyweight Champion Tommy Burns in the 14th round of their fight for the title. Johnson became the first African-American to win this coveted prize. Presented here is an antique photo of Johnson with his wife in 1913.
This antique photo measures 6 inches by 8 inches.The edges and corners show minor wear.The photo has a light crease across half of the middle of the photo.There are line marks coming throgh the photo from markings on the back.The back has markings in ink and pencil.The images are vivid.
