On June 27, 1951 at Yankee Stadium in New York former middleweight champion Jake LaMotta, fighting in his first fight since losing his title to Sugar Ray Robinson, met "Irish" Bob Murphy. The two fought as light heavyweights. LaMotta appeared to have lingering effects from the Robinson fight and was beaten soundly by Murphy who stopped Jake in the 7th round. LaMotta was unable to come out for the 8th round. Offered here is an original Dressing Room Pass used for this fight.
