LAWSON, BOB SIGNED PHOTO

HISTORY: Bob Lawson was an American light heavyweight who fought from 1920 until 1933. Born in Troy, Alabama Lawson fought for the most part out of Georgia. He is perhaps remembered best for a victory over 46 year old former world heavyweight champion Jack Johnson. During his career Lawson fought some of the better light heavyweights in the world including Tiger, Flowers, Johnny Risko, Kid Norfolk, Paul Berlenbach, George Godfrey, Bearcat Wright, and Jack DeMave. Lawson finished in 1933 with a final tally of 74-35-10.
