HISTORY: On March 2, 1977 at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweights Scott LeDoux and Pedro Soto met in the featured bout. LeDoux won a close, ten round, split decision. On the undercard rising heavyweight star Gerry Cooney knocked out Joe Roberson in the 2nd round, light heavyweight Mike Rossman stopped Ray Anderson in the 4th round and middleweight Ronnie Harris won a ten round decision over Olympic gold medalist Sugar Ray Seales.
