HISTORY: On June 19, 1936, Joe Louis and Max Schmeling fought in the main event at Yankee Stadium. Louis was undefeated and a rising star in the division. This fight was seen as another stepping stone to a title shot for Louis. In a stunning upset Schmeling would KO Louis in the 12th round.
