HISTORY: On June 28, 1939 World Heavyweight Champion Joe Louis defended his title against Tony Galento at Yankee Stadium in New York. Galento, a hard punching rough and tumble sort, knocked Louis down early in the fight. Louis recovered and administered a ferocious beating on "Two Ton" Tony before stopping him in the fourth round.

Not creased or torn. Small amount of paper residue on the back from mounting. Irregularly shaped to 2 3/4" x 3 3/4."
