On Septemebr 12, 1951 at the Polo Grounds in New York middleweight champion Randy Turpin defended his title against the man he took it from several months earlier, Sugar Ray Robinson. Robinson gained his revenge in this second meeting stopping Turpin in the 10th round in front of 61,437 fans. Offered here is an original wire photo depicting Robinson landing a huge right hand.
