Teofilo Stevenson knocked out Tyrell Biggs in the 2nd round in the super heavyweight contest. Pernell Whitaker won a 4-1 decision over Angel Herrera in a lightweight bout. Mark Breland won a 3-2 decision over Candelario Duvergel in a welterweight contest.
