On November 19, 1914 at the Auditorium in Milwaukee, Wisconsin future lightweight champion Freddie Welsh fought tough Charley White in the main event. Welsh won by ten round decision. This was a newspaper decision from the Milwaukee Free Press. In this amazing era of boxing this was one of seven fights Welsh would engage in over a five week period. Offered here is an original, first generation, panoramic photograph of this event. The photo shows most of the crowd in attendance with the fighters in the ring.
