HISTORY: On April 23, 1977 at the Forum in Inglewood, California WBA Bantamweight Champion Carlos Zarate fought WBC Bantamweight Champion Alphonso Zamora in a scheduled ten round non title affair. Zarate stopped Zamora in the 4th round. A fan jumped into the ring during 1st round in his underwear. The Police quickly converged and threw him out! Zamora was down three times in the 4th round before his father threw in the towel.
